Are You Aware that 30 million persons were killed in road accidents the world over in the last century. Of these, nearly 100,000 are INDIANS, dying every year. The heartrending figures and the frustrating inability of the victims compelled me to take the initiative in targeting at this persistent problem.

The message we wish to spread is aimed at the bystander, who can provide instant help at the site of the accident. Through training programmes that educate the general public about whole body injury and the like, we hope to create a large mass that can deal with accident victims on the spot and thus save countless precious lives.

Accidents are unprecedented events, and being a third world country, the Government alone cannot be held accountable. Social like minded groups can collectively create pressure on the public to be good citizens by observing road safety norms and evolving a foolproof helpline system.

The need of the day is to reduce road accident mortality in whatever way we can and in strengthening the existing system.
