A unique body in Rajasthan to train bystanders in extending a helping hand to accident victims.


Awards & Acclaims

IRTE & Prince Michael International Road Safety Award 2006 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 12th January 2007.

Being the first organization in the state to conceive the concept of reaching out to the bystanders as per norms of American Heart Association and European Resuscitation Council guidelines but modified as per Indian perspective, this body reached out to all section of society in large numbers.

4th National Road Safety Award by the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, GOI, at Shimla on 22nd September 2006

The award was a consequence of a project allocated by the NHAI on Delhi - Jaipur Highway. The Trust identified dedicated volunteers called Sahayta Samooh (SS) members who were imparted the training on post accident handling of accident victims.

District Level Award for Road Safety by Government of Rajasthan on 15th August 2006.

While the project by the NHAI on NH-8 was in progress, a large area also fell under the ambit of Jaipur district. The Trust was able to involve all departments in the varied activities like rally, quiz and painting, seminars as also license seekers through the RTO Jaipur.

Road accidents take a heavy toll of human life in our country. The above award was granted because the Trust is working solely for this social cause.
