The “Golden Hour” is often used in trauma and emergency care to suggest that an injured or sick person must receive definitive treatment within the first 60 minutes, from the time of injury or appearance of symptoms.
It is believed that if the doctor starts treatment in the first hour i.e. Golden Hour, the chances of survival will increase.
